getting warped
After weeks of indecision, I've settled on making a rug. My other idea was a bamboo fiber scarf. Someday I'll do that one, but for now its all about the rug. I've had this idea in my head all winter -- mostly because the floor next to my bed has been crying out for warmth. Actually, its my feet crying out, but really its a great reason for a rug! This will be the first time I've used the entire width of my loom (32"). I'm using black linen warp and will use recycled cotton t-shirts for the weft (the warp is the part you see in these pictures, the weft is what gets woven in and out of the warp). Stay tuned for updates... though I think it may be slow going.
